EGSSIS Becomes part of the Energy One Group

Dear Partners, Customers, and Business Relationships,

I would like to inform you personally about a major milestone in the history of EGSSIS NV via this blog post.

As you know, in 2008, we founded EGSSIS NV, aiming to become the best Service Provider in the European Energy markets.

It was an exciting journey and we were always careful to further build out the company to better serve you, our customers and key prospects.

Given the current climate, with energy companies facing increased needs for digitalisation and Algo-trading combined with ongoing globalisation, we needed to keep growing substantially to guarantee further expansion.

I can announce today with pride that Energy One Limited, owner of eZ-nergy and Contigo, has acquired 100% of the shares of EGSSIS NV on November 30th 2021.

As you know, eZ-nergy and EGSSIS are two of the three established European vendors selling software with additional services: power and gas scheduling and automated trading software, along with 24/7 on-behalf operations.

The merger of both service providers brings highly skilled teams together with strong market knowledge, high-quality services, and a dedicated customer service culture.

There are strong synergies between eZ-nergy and EGSSIS, which will create an extensive offering to both existing and new clients and bring some great benefits and strategic opportunities

  • Together, eZ, EGSSIS and Contigo can boast increased coverage of the gas and power markets across Europe
  • Together, eZ and EGSSIS have 60 operations customers and 100+ software customers
  • Being within the broader Energy One Group, the financial stability is guaranteed for further growth

Your contacts at EGSSIS and our current way of working remain in place. More details and information shall be shared by your Key Account Manager in a personal call or the regular meetings.

Please do not hesitate to get in contact with your key account manager or with me would questions arise, I’m available.

Best regards,

Tom Dufraing
